Habitat for Humanity Anderson Habitat for Humanity of Anderson County is tackling the growing issue of affordable housing by offering low-income households a pathway to homeownership. Through sweat-equity, education and interest-free mortgages, Habitat homes change lives by building financial stability, improving health and safety, and providing a strong, stable foundation for educational and career success. Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

Mad Anthony's Children's Hope House provides a home away from home for families while their children are receiving treatment in local hospitals. Families can find rest, meals, hope and encouragement while knowing that they are just a few short minutes away from their child.

St. Joseph Missions provides emergency shelter for single women from the homeless community in an environment that respects their dignity as human persons, affords them the opportunity to live individually and collectively with others in a safe environment of self-government, and empowers them to network with local business contacts and social services for employment and self-sufficiency.
